Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 320 g chocolate (at least 50% cocoa content)
- 160 g sugar
- 160 g butter
- 5 large eggs
- 40 g flour
- 1 pinch of cream of tartar baking powder
- powdered sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Separate the eggs. Mix the flour with a pinch of cream of tartar baking powder. Melt the chocolate with the butter and sugar in a double boiler. Stir in the egg yolks and flour. Beat the egg whites until stiff and carefully fold in. Grease a springform pan well with butter and pour in the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30-45 minutes (test with a toothpick). Allow to cool thoroughly before removing from the pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with fruit, if desired.
