Chocolate cake for the microwave

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g chocolate
  • 200 g sugar
  • 4 tbsp rum
  • 6 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Place butter and chocolate in small pieces in the microwave (e.g., in a Tupperware Mikroplus 1.0-liter pot) and melt for about 4 minutes at 600 watts. Stir several times during the process. Stir in the sugar until completely dissolved. Fold in the rum (or a few drops of rum flavoring instead), eggs, flour, and baking powder. Pour into the cleaned silicone mold (grease other materials such as silicone). Bake for 10 minutes at 600 watts. Let stand in the microwave for another 5 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and let cool.
