Chocolate cake with pears and lemon balm

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g butter
  • 300 g flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 150 ml milk
  • 10 g lemon balm
  • 5 bulb(s)
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

for a 26cm springform pan

Beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy and then stir in the softened butter. Combine the flour, cocoa, and baking powder and stir into the egg mixture along with the milk. Finely chop the lemon balm and fold it into the batter. Halve the pears. Grease a 26cm springform pan. Pour in the batter and top with the pears. Bake in an oven preheated to 160°C (fan assisted) for about 40 minutes on the middle rack.
