Minced Meat Marries Cauliflower
The perfect minced meat marries cauliflower recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 greater Cauliflower fresh
- 400 g Mixed minced meat
- 2 Free range eggs
- 1 Grated onion
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Salt
- 1 pinch Freshly grated nutmeg
- 2 liter Water
- Black pepper from the mill
Preparation:
- Bring 2 liters of water to the boil and season with 2 tablespoons of salt.
- Clean the cauliflower and cut into the stalk.
- Let the cabbage cook for a good 5 minutes and then drain in the sieve.
- Mix the minced meat with the eggs (depending on the size, either 1 L or 2 M) and the grated onions. I always knead everything well with my (washed) hands. Season to taste with salt and pepper and the freshly painted nutmeg.
- In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
We start:
- I rubbed my tall Tupperware casserole well with butter and put the cauliflower in it. Then the minced meat mass comes over it like a bridal hood.
- Put in the middle of the preheated oven and bake for approx. 25 minutes.
- After the 25 minutes, place small flakes of butter on the minced meat mixture and bake for another 25 minutes.
- Now everything should be nice and brown and smell delicious. There is also a decent pilsner or a strong red wine. Enjoy the meal.
