Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g flour
  • 125 g butter
  • 50 g sugar
  • 25 g oat flakes
  • 1 large egg(s), organic
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 50 g chocolate, chopped or colored chocolate chips

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Using a hand mixer: Mix all ingredients, except the chocolate, into a dough. Without a hand mixer: Mix the butter and sugar until thick, then add the egg. Then combine the flour with the oats, salt, and baking powder and gradually knead in. Mix the chocolate into the prepared dough and then place the entire dough in the freezer for half an hour. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 190°C (top/bottom heat). Remove the dough from the freezer and form cookies about 4 cm in diameter on a baking sheet. Bake the cookies on the middle rack for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Remove the cookies from the baking sheet and let them cool.
