Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 shot of vanilla extract
  • 2 dashes lemon juice
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 70 g chocolate

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

for about 20 cookies

Place the softened butter in a bowl and mix with the white and brown sugar. Add the egg and vanilla extract. Combine the salt, flour, and baking powder and add spoonfuls at a time to the bowl containing the butter, sugar, and egg mixture. Add the lemon juice and mix again. Roughly chop the chocolate and mix it into the batter. Spread the batter onto a baking sheet using two large spoons. Leave enough space between the batter piles, as the cookies will spread during baking. Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 15 minutes, until the edges are nicely browned. Let cool for five minutes.
