Chocolate-covered fruit skewers

Ingredients for 16 servings:

  • 50 g chocolate, milk
  • 50 g chocolate, white
  • 2 m.-sized apples (e.g. Elstar)
  • 1 small pineapple (can optional)
  • 500 g strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 200 g grapes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Melt the chocolate in separate water baths. Dice the apples and pineapple. If using canned pineapple, drain well and then chop finely. Thread the apples, pineapple, strawberries, and grapes onto 16 skewers and cover them in threads of melted chocolate, alternating between white and milk chocolate. Chill the finished fruit skewers for about 1 hour. You can customize the flavor of the melted chocolate by adding 1 teaspoon of coconut, hazelnut, vanilla, or caramel.
