raw carrot salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 bunch carrots, fresh
  • 2 m.-sized apples
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ lemon(s), juice
  • 1 handful of raisins

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash, peel, and finely grate the carrots. Then grate the apples and onion and add them to the carrots. Mix with a little oil and immediately season with lemon juice and sugar. Finally, fold in the raisins. The lemon juice is important to prevent the apples and carrots from turning brown, and the oil helps the body absorb the carrots’ vitamin A. I only use fresh bunched carrots because they’re juicier and taste better!
