Chocolate hazelnut cake with goat's cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g biscuits (chocolate biscuits)
  • 50 g hazelnuts, roasted, grated
  • 100 g butter, melted
  • 100 g goat’s cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g yogurt (vanilla flavor)
  • 70 g sugar
  • 150 ml cream
  • 30 g flour
  • 100 g chocolate, dark
  • 1 pinch of instant coffee powder
  • 30 ml syrup (walnut syrup)
  • 40 g butter
  • 30 ml liqueur (hazelnut liqueur)
  • Cocoa for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 150°C. Grind the biscuits in a food processor until finely crumbled. Mix with the nuts and melted butter and line a tart tin. Mix the goat’s cheese with the eggs, vanilla yogurt, sugar, cream, and flour until smooth. Pour onto the crumbled base and bake for 40-45 minutes. Meanwhile, chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt it over a pan of simmering water. Carefully stir in the coffee powder, walnut syrup, butter, and liqueur one at a time. Spread the chocolate mixture over the slightly cooled cake, smooth it out, and let it set. Dust with cocoa powder and serve.
