Chocolate Heart in Vanilla Coating

chocolate dough

  • 100 g Magarine
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 150 g Flour
  • 1,5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 60 ml Milk
  • 200 g Magarine
  • 3 tablespoon Baking cocoa

Vanilla batter

  • 150 g Sugar
  • 4 piece Eggs
  • 280 g Flour
  • 3 Tablespoon (level) Baking powder
  • 120 ml Milk
  • 1 pck Custard powder
  • Coconut flakes

at will

  • 1,5 pck Couverture
  1. Beat the margarine, eggs and sugar until frothy. Add flour, baking powder, milk and cocoa and mix everything well.
  2. Put in a greased loaf pan and bake at 180 degrees for a good 50 minutes. let cool down.
  3. Cut the chick into thicker slices and cut out one heart each with a heart cutter.
  4. Prepare the light dough as above and add the pack of vanilla pudding and coconut flakes to the dough.
  5. Fill 1/3 of the batter into the greased loaf pan and insert the cut out chocolate dough hearts one behind the other. Spread the rest of the batter over it. Scatter coconut flakes on top. Bake at 180 degrees again for 50 minutes. Let cool down.
  6. If you want, you can melt the couverture and spread it over the cake
  7. The leftovers from the dark batter are great for cakepops
