Chocolate mousse without eggs

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 90 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp coffee, cold
  • 2 tbsp orange liqueur
  • 1 cup of cream
  • Butter, if you like

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 30 minutes

Melt the chocolate in the milk over low heat. Then stir in the coffee and liqueur, and if desired, the butter, so that it slowly dissolves. Let it cool for about 1 hour; the mixture can still be slightly lukewarm, then whip the cream until stiff peaks form and fold it in. Before serving, the chocolate mousse should be refrigerated for about 3-4 hours to allow it to reach its optimal firmness. Tip: You can also use milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate. And if you prefer a richer texture, you can even substitute cream for the milk. Per serving: Approx. 485 kcal
