Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 240 g pear(s) – pomace (residue from juicing)
  • 4 tsp, levelled cocoa powder (not drink powder)
  • 1 pinch of vanilla, real ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Recipe for using pomace, no added sugar, vegan

Blend the pear pomace with the cocoa and vanilla until smooth. The pomace can be used on its own as a sweet spread and tastes delicious stirred into (soy) yogurt. Since the spread is made from raw pears, it should be consumed within 2-3 days and stored tightly sealed in the refrigerator. Note: Pomace is the residue left over from pressing juice. This recipe uses pear pomace.
