Chocolate pudding with agar agar

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • ¾ liter almond milk (almond drink)
  • 3 tsp, leveled agar-agar
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 8 tsp, heaped baking cocoa
  • n. B. powdered sugar or other sweeteners

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 15 minutes

Vegan, fructose-free and lactose-free

Bring the almond milk, cocoa powder, and agar-agar powder to a boil in a saucepan. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then remove from the heat. Melt the dark chocolate and stir in. Season and sweeten the pudding to taste. Cool briefly, then place it in a bowl in the refrigerator to chill. This will take between two and five hours, depending on the bowl. If you want to know if the pudding has really set, you can chill a plate in the refrigerator beforehand and then drop a few drops of hot pudding onto the cold plate. Agar-agar only sets when it cools, which is why the pudding will be very runny when warm.
