Chocolate semolina porridge

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 ml milk
  • 70 g semolina, soft wheat
  • 60 g raw cane sugar, brown
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 small eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Combine the milk with the semolina, sugar, vanilla sugar, cocoa, and salt and simmer for 10 minutes. Let the mixture cool for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, separate the eggs and stir the egg yolks into the slightly cooled semolina mixture. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. Serve with vanilla sauce. The semolina porridge can be eaten hot or cold.
