Semolina porridge like grandma used to make

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ liter soy milk (soy drink) (vanilla soy milk)*
  • 100 g soft wheat semolina
  • 40 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar or, better yet, real vanilla sugar (homemade)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp, dried margarine, if you like it
  • n. B. cinnamon and sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

best vegan semolina porridge, sweet and delicious

Combine everything in a saucepan over low heat and simmer for a few minutes until you have a slightly thick semolina porridge. Stir constantly, otherwise it will burn easily. It’s especially delicious sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar or with preserved fruit. The version with margarine is naturally a bit heavier and not everyone likes it, but I like it, especially on cold winter days. * I use the Alpro version because it doesn’t have a soy aftertaste.
