Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g water
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), the pulp
  • 100 g cocoa powder, heavily deoiled

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

for non-alcoholic cocktails or long drinks

Boil water with sugar and leveled vanilla seeds until the sugar has dissolved (cook the split pod with the vanilla pod). Remove the pod. Stir in the cocoa powder and simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Store in the refrigerator. Tip: A honey-sized bottle is ideal for portioning. For adults, a little cognac can be added after cooking.
