Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 300 g spelt flour
  • 1 vanilla pod(s) (scraped)
  • 150 g fructose
  • 150 g margarine, cold (Lätta)
  • 1 egg(s), size L
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp milk 1.5%
  • 5 apples, St. Nicholas apples or other winter apples
  • 100 g fructose
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • 80 ml water
  • 2 pinch(s) cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp Calvados
  • 100 g almonds, grated hazelnuts or chopped peanuts
  • 2 tbsp rum -raisins, pickled

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Quickly knead the dough ingredients together and let rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Remove from the refrigerator 15 minutes before further processing. Meanwhile, peel and core the apples, and cut them into quarters. Simmer in a hot pan with the cinnamon, fructose, lemon juice, and water for about five minutes. Drain the liquid and mix the apple mixture with the schnapps instead. Allow to cool. Pour the dough into a baking tray to form the base. Prick several times with a fork. Then scatter the baked apples, including the nuts, raisins, and the liquid, over the dough. Bake at 180°C for about 45 minutes.
