  • Black peppercorns

snowmen

  • Pumpernickel thalers
  • Mini mozzarella balls
  • Carrots (1x thick, 1x thin)
  • Black peppercorns
  • Toothpick

Preface:

  1. It is on purpose that I have not given any quantities. It’s all about “How is it done?” .. These appetizers are particularly popular with children.

Pine trees:

  1. Brush the pumpernickel thalers with the cream cheese and set aside.
  2. Use the vegetable peeler to slice the cucumber lengthways into thin, wide strips. These are twisted and impaled on the toothpicks, widening in small waves at the top and widening at the bottom. Skewer these on the coated pumpernickel.
  3. Place two slices of cheese on top of each other and cut out small stars with the cookie cutter. Put this on top of the toothpick tip.

Santa Claus:

  1. Wash and dry the tomatoes. Hold the base of the style down and cut off the upper third as a tip. Now put some mayonnaise / cream cheese on the body and put on the tip. Decorate eyes with peppercorns.

Snowmen:

  1. Peel the carrots and cut one slice from the thin and one from the thick carrot. Put this as a hat on the upper end of the toothpick.
  2. Skewer two mini mozzarella balls underneath and place the whole thing on a Pumpernickel Taler.
  3. Press in buttons with peppercorns and give the snowman a nose with a carrot carver.
