Christmas Cookies: Alpine Bread

for the cast:
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 30 g Cocoa powder
- 1 Msp Cinammon
- 1 Msp Cardamom
- 1 Msp Ground anise
- 1 Msp Ground cloves
- 250 g Soft butter
- 250 g Sugar
- 2 Pc. Eggs
- 150 g Powdered sugar
- Lemon juice
- Mix the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and spices. Stir in butter and sugar with your hands or a hand mixer. Finally knead in the eggs. Knead everything quickly into a compact dough.
- Divide the dough into approx. 6 portions and shape each into a long thin roll (each approx. Long enough to fit across the baking sheet). Place three rolls at a time on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 10-15 minutes.
- Mix the ingredients for the topping and coat the rolls thickly with them immediately after baking. Let cool down a bit and then cut diagonally into pieces approx. 2 cm thick with a sharp knife while still warm. Let cool down.
