Westphalian Potato Salad

The perfect westphalian potato salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Waxy potatoes
  • 3 Pc. Eggs
  • 1 Pc. Onion red
  • 0,5 bunch Fresh dill
  • 1 small Cucumber
  • 3 tbsp White balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Chili oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  1. Cook the potatoes for about 20 minutes, then drain, let cool and peel. Boil the eggs hard, quench them, peel them and cut them into slices with an egg cutter. Cut the cooled potatoes into pieces. Peel the onion and cut into cubes. Wash the dill, shake dry and roughly chop. Mix vinegar, oil, salt, pepper and sugar, mix all ingredients with the sauce and let it steep.
