Christmas Cookies: Real Heather Sand

The perfect christmas cookies: real heather sand recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

wrap in:

  • 80 g Powdered sugar
  • 50 g Marzipan
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 0,5 Pc. Lemon zest
  • 250 g Sifted flour
  • 1 Pc. Cling film

coat:

  • 1 Pc. Egg yolk
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  1. Mix the butter, powdered sugar, marzipan and lemon zest until smooth.
  2. Sieve in the flour, mix well.
  3. Roll the dough into even rolls and in foil, place in the refrigerator. Preferably overnight.
  4. Brush the rolls with egg yolk and roll in sugar.
  5. Now cut the slices approx. 05 cm thick.

To bake :

  1. At 170 about 12 min.
