Christmas Linzer Torte
The perfect christmas linzer torte recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
wrap + cool:
- 175 g Sifted flour
- 0,5 teaspoon Bio lemon zest
- 0,25 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch Ground cloves
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 Pc. Organic egg yolks
- 125 g Butter at room temperature
- 1 Pc. Cling film
Surface 1:
- 1 glass Raspberry jam
- 1 glass Cookie cutters fir tree, star
Painting the fir trees, stars:
- 2 cl Condensed milk 7.5% fat
- 1 tablespoon Sugar flowers z. B. at Aldi
to cover:
- 1 Pc. Aluminum foil
Making shortcrust pastry:
- Place the almonds and flour on a countertop.
- Rub the lemon zest over it and add the spices + sugar, butter and egg yolk. Knead quickly.
- Wrap in cling film and cool for about 2 hours.
- Separate the dough into 3 parts. We need 1 + 2 for the cake. Butter the shapes, bring in the dough to the edge.
- With raspberry jam (in my cookbook, I used a mix of josta berries and raspberries)
Prepare decoration:
- Roll out 1 / 3 of the dough on a floured surface, about 2mm thick. Now cut out firs and stars. You decorate according to your taste.
- Bake at 175 ° C for 20 minutes without a cover. + 15-20 min. With aluminum foil (otherwise the cookies will be too dark)
