Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 125 g rice pudding
- 500 ml milk
- 3 large apples
- 5 Spekulatius biscuits, maybe more if needed
- n. B. sugar
- Cinnamon
- 8 confectionery (marzipan potatoes)
- nuts of your choice, if required
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Bring the milk to a boil and add the rice. Then, cover and simmer for another 10 minutes over low heat. Meanwhile, peel and chop the apples, crumble the speculatius biscuits, chop the marzipan potatoes, and add nuts to taste. Brown everything in a pan and caramelize with sugar. Once the rice pudding has simmered for about 8 minutes, fold in the mixture and let simmer for the remainder of the time. Season with cinnamon to taste. Serve warm and, if desired, crumble a few speculatius biscuits over the top for a crunch. This is a spontaneous recipe and can be adapted to your liking.
