Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 kg sour cherries
- 1 kg sugar
- ½ bag of gingerbread spice
- 2 bags of Gelfix
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cook the sour cherries with sugar until soft, then puree. Season with gingerbread spice to taste. Bring back to a boil. Finally, stir in the gel-fix and, after about another minute of cooking, pour into twist-off jars and seal immediately. This isn’t just perfect for breakfast; it’s also perfect for filling Christmas cookies.
