Churros from the waffle iron

Preheat the waffle iron. Bring the butter, sugar, salt, and water to a simmer in a saucepan and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Then add the flour and mix everything into a smooth batter, ensuring no flour residue sticks to the bottom of the pan. Pour the batter into a bowl, let it cool slightly, and beat in the egg using the whisk attachment of a hand mixer. Grease the waffle iron with melted butter and fill each heart-shaped dish with 1 teaspoon of batter. Cook the churros until golden brown. Mix the sugar and cinnamon and immediately roll the freshly baked waffles in it. Serve while still warm with chocolate sauce.
