Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 275 g margarine
- 3 egg yolks
- Cream, for spreading
- 150 g granulated sugar, for sprinkling

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes
Crispy and delicious cinnamon cookies – egg yolk utilization
Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Add margarine and knead thoroughly with your hands. Add egg yolk and quickly knead everything into a smooth dough. Wrap in aluminum foil and chill for 1 hour. Then roll out the dough to about 1/2 cm thick and cut out hearts or other shapes. Brush the cookies with cream and dip the tops in sugar. Bake in a preheated oven on the middle rack at 200°C – 225°C for about 10 minutes. A great recipe. A must-have on our Christmas plates every year.
