- 35 g oat flakes, wholegrain
- 180 ml milk
- ¼ tsp cinnamon, ground
- n. B. Sweetener, liquid
- e.g. banana(s)

Place the oatmeal, milk, and cinnamon in a small saucepan and simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until the porridge reaches the right consistency. If you like it sweet, you can add a little sweetener. In the US, mashed bananas are often added to the porridge when serving. Half a banana is enough for one serving of porridge.
