Crispy porridge with a delicate melon note

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 10 whole-grain butter cookies
  • 50 g oat flakes
  • 200 g watermelon(s)
  • 200 ml water or low-fat milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Crumble the butter biscuits. Bring about 200 ml of water or milk to a boil in a small saucepan. Stir in half of the biscuit crumbs and the oats, and remove the pan from the heat. Deseed the melon and cut it into small pieces. Stir the melon into the porridge and let it cool slightly. Finally, sprinkle the remaining biscuit crumbs on top and enjoy the porridge lukewarm.
