  • 250 ml tomato paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Pasta dish with Parmesan sauce

Combine the cream, milk, tomato paste, and ketchup in a saucepan, stir well with a whisk, and heat over medium heat. Then stir in the garlic and parsley or basil. Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Be careful with the salt! The Parmesan is already salty! Stir the sauce occasionally to prevent it from burning, and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add the Parmesan and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring constantly. If the sauce is too runny, add more Parmesan. Conversely, add more milk or cream (to taste). Meanwhile, cook the pasta as usual, drain, and serve with the sauce! If you like, add more Parmesan.
