Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 ml whole milk, 3.5% fat
  • 125 g rice pudding
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 30 g butter
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon

Bring the milk, rice, and a pinch of salt to a boil, stirring constantly, then simmer over low heat until the rice is tender. Stirring is important, as this dish burns easily. Melt the butter in a small pan and let it brown. Serve the finished rice pudding with sugar, cinnamon, and browned butter. We like it with applesauce.
