If the cornflake’s pack is torn open, it can often no longer be closed well. With this trick, your cornflakes will remain as tasty as on the first day.
Instructions for closing your Cornflakes packaging
The carton and inner bag can be opened in a matter of seconds for muesli, cornflakes, and the like. The cardboard box is usually difficult to close again using the small closing flap. If the pack tips over, the contents are quickly scattered everywhere. Aggravating! The British Becky Holden McGhee posted a solution on the social network. Crafting the cardboard box is quick and easy.
- First, fold the two small side tabs into the inside of the pack.
- Do the same with one of the longer side flaps. To do this, select the one that is more damaged and fold it snugly inside the box.
- Now a little dexterity is required: fold the narrow sides of the box on the top two to three centimeters inwards with a crease.
- To do this, press in the middle of the narrow side part with a finger and at the same time pull the corners outwards.
- Sharply fold the resulting creases inwards.
- Now comes the finale: Insert the remaining long side flap on the opposite side of the pack into the “slits” you just folded and press the whole thing down. Finished!
