Coated KIP Fillet

The perfect coated kip fillet recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Chicken fillet
  • 300 g Smoked breakfast bacon
  • Or Black FOrest bacon
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • Chilli from the mill

marinade

  • 3 tbsp Forest blossom honey
  • 2 tbsp Zaanse Mosterd roughly
  • Or some other coarse mustard
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • Fat for frying
  1. Cut the fillet pieces into portions, season with pepper and chilli. Wrapping with the bacon slices. In the meantime, prepare the marinade and then spread the wrapped fillets with it and leave to rest covered in the refrigerator.
  2. After the resting phase of about 30 minutes, place them in a greased pan, place in the oven preheated to 225 degrees and bake for 15 minutes until a nice brown crust has formed. No liquid has to be added, it arises by itself.
  3. This variant can be served as finger food at a small celebration or at a BBQ evening with family or friends. I wish you bon appetit.
