Cocoa-Almond Brownies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 60 g honey
  • 80 g spelt flour, plain
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp pure tartar baking powder
  • 20 g almonds, ground
  • 10 g almond flakes,
  • n. B. almond(s)
  • 200 g apple puree with mango

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

For a 25 x 21 cm brownie pan. Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and the honey until frothy. Combine all dry ingredients and fold into the egg and honey mixture. Finally, add the apple puree and stir briefly. Line the pan with baking paper and pour in the mixture. Place the pan on the middle rack and bake for approximately 30-35 minutes. Once cooled, cut into small cubes and serve with fresh fruit, a dollop of whipped cream, and powdered sugar, if desired.
