Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 70 g sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g orange marmalade with pieces
  • 25 g cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 50 g dark chocolate coating
  • ½ tsp oil
  • 50 g candied orange peel

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Combine all ingredients to form a smooth dough. Divide the dough into thirds and shape into approximately 18 cm long rolls with a diameter of 3 cm. Wrap the rolls in foil and place in the freezer for about 1 hour to make them easier to cut and retain their shape. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Line a baking tray with baking paper. Cut the rolls into 1.5 cm thick circles, place them on the tray, and bake for about 20 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool completely. Finely chop the chocolate and melt it with the oil over a double boiler. Cover the cookies with the chocolate and decorate with the candied orange peel.
