  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

enough for 8 waffles

Sift the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder into a bowl. Melt the butter and add it to the flour along with the powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, eggs, and milk. Mix everything together until smooth. Preheat the waffle iron with the lid closed. Then grease it and add a ladleful of batter to each waffle. Bake 8 waffles at a time, taking 3 to 4 minutes each. For the chocolate sauce, cut the chocolate coating into small pieces. Bring the cream to a boil with the cinnamon and vanilla sugar, stirring constantly until the chocolate coating melts. Arrange the finished waffles on plates and serve drizzled with the sauce. Tip: This goes well with cream whipped with cinnamon.
