Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g cod fillet(s)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • Salt
  • Lemon pepper
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 4 rolls (fitness rolls)
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 1 tsp mustard, grainy
  • 4 leaves of iceberg lettuce
  • 1 beefsteak tomato(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash the cod fillet, pat dry, and chop finely with a knife. Mix in the egg and breadcrumbs and season with salt and lemon pepper. Form the mixture into flat patties and coat them in flour. Wash the lettuce and tomato and pat dry. Remove the stem from the tomato and slice it. Mix the cream cheese with the mustard. Halve the bacon slices, fry in heated oil until crispy and golden brown, and remove. Add the patties to the remaining cooking fat and fry for 10 to 15 minutes on each side. Cut open the buns. Spread both buns with the cream cheese. Place the lettuce and tomato slices on the bottom buns, place the patties on top, cover with bacon, place the top bun on top, and serve.
