Cod in apple and coconut sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g cod fillet(s), cut into cubes or strips
  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 small apple, sour, finely sliced ​​or coarsely grated
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • ½ tsp, leveled curry powder
  • 2 pinches of white pepper
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch of lemongrass
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce Dresden style
  • 0.4 liters of coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 lemon wedges for garnishing
  • 1 tsp, levelled dill tips, fresh, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Heat the rapeseed oil with the butter and fry the diced onion. Add the cod pieces and fry until translucent. Now add the apple slices and the spices, except for the lemon juice, and continue to heat for about 5 minutes while stirring. Add the coconut milk, bring to a boil, and season to taste. Garnish as desired. Serve with a rice dish and a raw vegetable salad.
