Cod in mustard and horseradish sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g cod fillet(s)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 200 ml milk
  • 100 ml coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 1 tbsp horseradish, sweet
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 ½ tsp dill, dried
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 pinches of black pepper
  • 3 grains allspice, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

For the sauce, combine all ingredients except the fish and lemon juice in a measuring jug and mix well. Rub the fish fillets with lemon juice and briefly sear them on both sides in olive oil. Remove from the pan, pour the sauce into the pan, and bring to a boil. Then add the fillets to the sauce and cook over low heat for 8-10 minutes. This goes well with boiled potatoes and Brussels sprouts.
