Cod Rustic

The perfect cod rustic recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 600 g Cod frozen, or fresh
  • 1 medium-sized Onion
  • 1 Garlic toe
  • Pepper salt
  • Marjoram, thyme
  • Lime oil
  • Aluminum foil
  1. Thaw the fish and drain well. Cut the onion into fine rings, coarsely chop the garlic.
  1. Take aluminum foil about the size of a baking sheet, double it up and fold over the edges. Half fish on it. Add the seasoning, onion and garlic, add lime oil and fold the whole thing into a packet (see photo).
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °. Place the fish packets on the grill grate in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes. Open the package carefully (hot steam)!
  1. These packets can also be placed on the grill. I did without herb butter, tastes “of course” very tasty.
