Cod with Orange Sauce

The perfect cod with orange sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 g Butter
  • 150 ml Fish stock
  • 50 ml White wine
  • 2 tsp Grated orange peel
  • 50 ml Freshly squeezed orange juice
  • Coriander spice
  • Thyme spice
  • 4 Cod fillet
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • Sugar brown
  1. Put the wine with the fish stock, orange peel, orange juice, coriander and thyme in a small saucepan. Simmer thickly for a few minutes over high heat. Clean, sour and salt the fish fillet. Turn in the flour and fry in the hot oil for 5 minutes on each side, remove and drain on kitchen paper.
  2. Mix in the cold butter cubes and the rest of the orange peel with a whisk. Season with salt 1 pinch of sugar and pepper. Do not let the sauce boil anymore and serve immediately with the fish. We like to eat baguettes with it. Bon Appetit!
