Cod with Orange Sauce
The perfect cod with orange sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 150 g Butter
- 150 ml Fish stock
- 50 ml White wine
- 2 tsp Grated orange peel
- 50 ml Freshly squeezed orange juice
- Coriander spice
- Thyme spice
- 4 Cod fillet
- Pepper
- Salt
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- Sugar brown
- Put the wine with the fish stock, orange peel, orange juice, coriander and thyme in a small saucepan. Simmer thickly for a few minutes over high heat. Clean, sour and salt the fish fillet. Turn in the flour and fry in the hot oil for 5 minutes on each side, remove and drain on kitchen paper.
- Mix in the cold butter cubes and the rest of the orange peel with a whisk. Season with salt 1 pinch of sugar and pepper. Do not let the sauce boil anymore and serve immediately with the fish. We like to eat baguettes with it. Bon Appetit!
