Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 shallots
  • 20 g butter
  • 200 g butter
  • 2 tsp espresso powder, instant
  • 1 pinch of chili powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Serve as a spread or with steaks

Peel and finely dice the shallots. Sauté them in 20g butter until translucent and let cool for 10 minutes. Cream 200g butter with espresso powder, salt, and chili powder until fluffy. Add the slightly cooled shallots and mix well. Season to taste and add a little more salt, if desired. Transfer to a small bowl and let set in the refrigerator.
