Mirabelle jam

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • Mirabelle plums
  • gelling sugar
  • lemon juice
  • pectin

Instructions

Working time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Pit and boil the mirabelle plums, then strain them. Weigh the resulting pulp and bring it to a boil with the appropriate amount of gelling sugar. It’s important to note that mirabelle plums have little pectin. Therefore, add some pectin to the gelling sugar and a little lemon juice! Since mirabelle plums have a delicate flavor, I wouldn’t mix them with other fruits!
