Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 tbsp instant coffee powder
- 5 tbsp water, warm
- 150 g flour
- 100 g butter, soft
- 30 g hazelnuts, ground
- 30 g almond(s), ground
- 50 g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 can of cake icing
- Brittle, chocolate sprinkles, chocolate shavings
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 13 minutes; Total time approx. 33 minutes
Dissolve the coffee in the water. Mix the flour, sugar, salt, almonds, and nuts. Add the butter and coffee and mix with a dough hook, then knead by hand. Roll into small balls and place them on a greased baking sheet. Flatten with a fork. Bake at 180°C/350°F for about 10-13 minutes on the middle rack, then let cool. Melt the icing and either dip the cookies halfway in, spread it on, or pipe stripes onto them. You can then sprinkle praline, chocolate sprinkles, or chocolate shavings on the still-warm icing.
