Cola – Chicken Legs
The perfect cola – chicken legs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Chicken legs
- 1 Red onion
- 1 Can Pizza tomatoes with herbs
- 400 ml Cola
- 3 tbsp Tomato paste
- 2 tsp Chicken broth instant
- Pepper
- Remove the skin from the chicken legs (mine were each over 250 grams, were of course from the butcher I trust, kikok quality).
- Pot or pan are suitable for the preparation, the legs just have to fit next to each other.
- Mix the tomato paste and stock powder with a little boiling water so that the powder dissolves.
- Tilt the pizza tomatoes into the pot / pan, fill the can with cola, add the tomato paste mixture as well.
- Peel and finely chop the onion and add to the sauce. Stir everything.
- Insert the legs and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer gently for 1 hour with the lid closed. The legs should be turned at least once.
- Season with pepper and serve.
- Goes well with baguettes, potatoes, sweet potatoes, pasta, flatbread …
