Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1,000 g meat (pork, beef or turkey), roast meat
  • 3 onions
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder as desired
  • possibly garlic
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 400 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the meat and season all over with salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat the oil in a pan and sear the roast on all sides. Deglaze with the water. Halve the onions and slice them into rings. Simmer the roast over low heat for one hour. Then roughly dice the fresh bell peppers and simmer for another half hour (depending on how long the roast is cooking). Remove the meat from the pan and use the remaining stock to make a sauce to taste. Serve with potatoes or rice.
