Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 jar of ajvar
  • 1,000 g natural yogurt
  • 1 jar milk, approx. 200 ml
  • 2 pinches of sugar
  • 1 handful of fresh herbs (basil, peppermint, lemon verbena)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

the ultimate summer soup

Mix the ajvar (I used the mild variety because of the kids) with the yogurt. Add the milk until the desired consistency is reached. Add a few pinches of sugar to round out the flavor, then finely chop the herbs and add them. Refrigerate the whole thing for about 20 minutes to allow the herbs to develop their full aroma. Now you have THE ultimate summer soup for hot days.
