Cold Brew Coffee

The perfect cold brew coffee recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Ground coffee
  • 1 liter Cold water
  1. Pour 1,200 g of ground coffee into a carafe (of course, it is best if the coffee is freshly ground). Now pour in the cold water and stir vigorously, then cover the carafe with cling film and let it steep for at least 12 hours at room temperature.
  2. Then first pour the coffee through a sieve and then pour it through a coffee filter into a sealable bottle. This concentrate can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks without any loss of flavor.
  3. In order to be able to enjoy the coffee hot, you put part of the coffee concentrate in a cup and add 2 parts of hot water – then you have a nice, strong coffee, if you want a coffee that is not that strong, then you take 3 Divide hot water into one part coffee concentrate.
  4. Cold “brewed” coffee is particularly low in acid and therefore very well tolerated by people with sensitive stomachs.
