Coleslaw and Gyros Casserole
The perfect coleslaw and gyros casserole recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 8 piece Waxy potatoes
- 2 piece Onions
- 2 Toes Fresh garlic
- 500 g Gyros ready seasoned
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 500 g Coleslaw
- 200 g Yogurt 10% fat
- 200 g Feta
- Pepper from the grinder
- Fresh oregano
- Coarse salt
- Do not cook the peeled potatoes until tender and let them cool down.
- Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic.
- Heat the oil in the pan and fry the gyros (TK vonLidel). Fry the onions and garlic briefly.
- Drain the coleslaw, layer in a greased baking dish. Spread the yoghurt over it and spread the fried gyros on top.
- Roughly grate the potatoes, crumble the feta cheese and mix with the potatoes. Season with salt, pepper and oregano and spread this mixture over the meat.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and bake the casserole for about 40 minutes.
