Gyros, Cabbage and Potato Casserole

  • 700 g Potato
  • 0,5 Pc. Fresh white cabbage
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 500 g Gyros already inserted
  • Salt, pepper; paprika
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 150 g Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 100 g Grated cheese
  1. Boil the potatoes as jacket potatoes, peel them, leave to cool. Clean the cabbage, cut out the stalk. Cut the cabbage into fine strips.
  2. Heat the oil in a large roasting pan. Fry the gyros vigorously while turning. Add the cabbage to the meat and cook for about 10 minutes while turning. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Deglaze with the stock and cream, bring to the boil.
  3. Cut the potatoes into slices. Season the creme fraiche with salt, pepper and paprika. Layer the potatoes in a baking dish First put the gyros and cabbage mixture on top, then spread the creme fraiche on top. Scatter cheese over the casserole.
  4. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes at 175 ° C fan oven.
