Colorful hazelnut and almond cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 50 g almond(s), chopped
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 2 drops of bitter almond flavor
  • 250 g flour, wheat flour
  • 12 g baking powder
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 2 packs of cake icing, dark
  • 5 tbsp sugar – sprinkles, colored

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Combine the flour and baking powder and sift into the bowl of a food processor. Add the ground hazelnuts, chopped almonds, sugar, vanilla sugar, and bitter almond oil. Let the processor combine all the ingredients and then add the milk. Use only enough milk so that the batter falls easily from the spoon. Pour into a greased springform pan (with an open center) dusted with breadcrumbs and bake for about 55 minutes at 160°C. Gently heat the dark cake glaze in a water bath (do not allow it to boil!) and pour it over the cooled cake. Decorate with the colorful sprinkles.
